STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The Lt. Chuck Margiotta Winter Touch Tackle League comes to a close tomorrow with a tripleheader at the Father Capadanno Boulevard Turf field.
In the 8:30 a.m. opener, Gaeta Demolition meets Scala Demolition followed by J&J Towing against Mollie Ryans at 10 a.m.
The winners then come back to play for the championship at 11:30 a.m.

"This is it," said league president Charlie Margiotta. "This is why these guys keep playing week after week all winter long. It's their chance to win a championship.

"We had the weather on our side all winter," continued Margiotta. "We only lost one weekend and I think that's going to help us for next year.

"I had a lot more interest this winter than in past years, teams and coaches asking about coming in next season," he continued. "I'm hoping that interest builds and we can have three divisions."
