MARGIOTTA TOURNEY SCORES A GOAL

 
  Frank Ruocco tells us that the LT. CHUCK MARGIOTTA Memorial Three-On-Three Basketball Tournament at the St. Rita's parish was a slam dunk.

"CHUCK had some ideas about fixing up the gym and now we are trying to fulfill his vision," Ruocco related.

The two-day tournament attracted over 100 players, ages 5 to 16, and much of the money raised will go to paint the Meiers Corners auditorium and install new lighting.

"We had alot of fun with it, and we are already thinking about doing another one in the fall," he added.

Who had more fun running around - the kids or the adults - is still being debated. Anyway, Ruocco thanks everyone (including Rev. John Reardon) for their time and contributions and he'll see you later this year.
